No compromises. TransSteel multiprocess.

One device – for all manual welding applications

Combining MIG/MAG, TIG, and electrode welding in one device means you no longer have to purchase any other power sources. There is absolutely no difference in the welding performance of the respective process compared with a dedicated device.

118 characteristics*

/ Steel, CrNi, AlMg, AlSi, Metal Cored, Rutil FCW, Basic FCW, self-shielded wires / 0.8 – 1.2 mm wire diameter / Eight different gas mixtures

Ready to weld in three steps

The intuitive operating concept enables welders to start work straight away – no prior knowledge of the device is required. All the essential welding parameters can be viewed and adjusted on the front panel. The only parameters that have to be selected before welding begins are the gas, wire diameter and material thickness.

Smart features

EASY JOBS – Download parameters

To get started with recurring welding jobs quickly and easily, there is the Easy Jobs function. There you can easily set up recurring welding jobs. In the TransSteel 2700 Compact, you can save up to five EasyJobs. With Up/Down torches, you can call up individual EasyJobs.

Gas purge function

After a break in welding, the hose package can be flushed with shielding gas. This is easily done by pressing the gas flushing button. This way, you are guaranteed gas protection from the moment the arc is ignited.

Control panel – Lock

With a combination of button presses, you can lock the TransSteel control panel. This prevents accidental welding parameter changes.

Wire feeding – No problem

At the touch of a button, the welding wire is automatically guided through the hose package and torch without having to open the feed rolls. No shielding gas escapes during this time.

TIG functions

TIG – Pulse

We use TIG pulse welding primarily when welding in difficult positions or when welding very thin materials. The setting range for the pulse frequency is 1 Hz to 990 Hz.

TAC – Staple function

With the help of a pulsating current, the melt pools are set in motion. This allows the two melt pools to quickly and easily merge into one. The pulsation facilitates the process, especially when using thin materials. As a result, we can reduce the amount of heat input compared to a fixed lower current.

Gas preflow time + Gas afterflow

Depending on the set welding current, TransSteel automatically calculates the optimal gas post-flow time. This optimizes the gas protection for the weld end and the tungsten electrode.
